Teacher Resources

Teacher Workshops

Discover and share ideas with other teachers in Old South Meeting House’s teacher workshops. Local scholars, museum educators and fellow teachers share lesson plans and activities that teach American history in fun, new ways. All workshops offer professional development points to Massachusetts teachers as well as the opportunity to earn graduate credit.

Please contact our Education Department at education@osmh.org to inquire about upcoming workshops or special programs for teachers.

INFORMATION FOR ALL TEACHERS!! PLEASE CLICK HERE TO LEARN MORE ABOUT "POETRY WITH A PURPOSE: TEACHING HISTORY THROUGH ENGLISH LANGUAGE ARTS," A WORKSHOP FOR 5TH-8TH GRADE TEACHERS.

WebCasts

In keeping with our history as a venue for civic dialogue and free speech, Old South Meeting House presents a wide variety of public programs each year that explore topics in history, culture, and public policy. Many of our programs are available on our website at webcasts. For a full list of events that are available to view or listen to again, please visit our page on the Forum Network website, a public media service of WGBH Boston, PBS, and NPR.
